Libya: Rebel forces hold huge armoury, ready for march on Tripoli | World news. On a sand-blown horizon, to the left of what makes for a rebel frontline, stand 12 large and dilapidated hangars that will likely prove pivotal to where Libya's revolution goes from here. Inside each of them is an enormous array of weaponry, stacked from floor to ceiling, which the haggard band of rebels gathering nearby say they will soon take on the long march to the Libyan capital, Tripoli. Just under two weeks ago, this giant arsenal on the outskirts of Ajdabiya, 100 miles south of Benghazi, was one of the Libyan army's biggest weapons dumps in the east of the country, a collection of arms so vast it was considered crucial to the country's eastern defences.

The dusty wooden boxes, containing rockets, mortars, artillery shells and howitzers, had clearly been assembled over a long period. Some seemed to date back to the late 80s – a time when Colonel Gaddafi last had Europe and the US threatening military measures against his regime. # Tunisia: Border Tensions / Help request... UN General Assembly Suspends Libya From Human Rights Council. The United Nations General Assembly, consisting of all 192 member nations, decided today to suspend Libya from the Geneva-based UN Human Rights Council because of attacks on protesters by Muammar Qaddafi’s regime. The resolution, adopted without a recorded vote because no nation asked for that formality to be observed, noted that the council’s bylaws provide for suspending a country’s membership for “gross and systematic” violations of human rights. It marked the first suspension of a council member. “This is a harsh rebuke, but one that Libya’s leaders have brought down upon themselves,” U.S.

As a matter of fact, we were only a team of 2 people! As the picture above shows. We really don’t know what more to add other than that this was a spontaneous unplanned effort from two people who wanted to do whatever they could to help a cause they so strongly believed in.
